Are you having trouble with subtraction? How about three-digit subtraction? Does subtracting decimals confuse you? Do you wish someone could simply explain the properties of subtraction? Rebecca Wingard-Nelson steps in to help students tackle the many tasks of subtraction. Topics such as subtracting greater numbers, fact families, subtracting time, and regrouping are clearly explained. Whether you are learning this information for the first time—on your own or with a tutor—or you would like to review your math skills, this book will be a great choice.
The basics of addition and subtraction are presented in two-page explanations and demonstrations. Each book contains a detailed table of contents, a one-page index, and a table of subtraction and addition terms. Problems and examples are explained and profusely illustrated with pen-and-ink drawings. Unfortunately, there are no practice problems. These books would serve as quick references or beginning guides for teaching math, but it’s unlikely that children will pick them up.
